HOW TO PLAY

Gold moves first. Pieces move one square diagonally forward, on the dark squares only. Tap one of your pieces, then tap a glowing square.
Jumps are forced. If any of your pieces can jump an enemy piece into the empty square beyond it, you must jump — the pulsing pieces are the ones that can. The jumped piece is captured and leaves the board.
Keep jumping. If your piece lands where it can jump again, the same turn continues — chain as many jumps as the board gives you.
Reach the far row and your piece is crowned a king. Kings move and jump diagonally in both directions, one square at a time. (Reaching the far row ends the turn, even mid-chain.)
You win by capturing all twelve enemy pieces, or by leaving your opponent with no legal move.
The move list uses the classic square numbers: a step reads 22–18, a jump reads 18×11, and a chain reads 18×11×4.
